  To start, I am not a personal friend, family member, romantic liaison, or have any business ties to Nilson and the staff at Master Touch Pools. In fact, I use a competitor for all of my pool needs.
  My pool was in sad shape. The diamond brite was coming off in chunks, my coping was dated and had plants growing from it, it was leaking at the skimmer, and my waterline tiles screamed 1978. I tried patching as best I could, and was able to prolong my pool’s usage for an additional 2 years. Eventually, I resigned myself to start shopping for pool refurbishment.
  
  Here are my observations of using Master Touch:
  -Professionalism: All of the guys on his staff are extremely courteous and kind. If I had questions, they’d stop and explain.
  -Start time: These guys would show up early. Many may not want hammering at 8am, but I hate when I hire someone to work at my home, and no activity starts until after noon.
  -Not Monday-Friday: Master Touch works on the weekends. I was fine with this, as the job finishes faster.
  -Project time: I think my pool took like 3.5 weeks to complete, and that was during rainy season.
  -Time of year: This project would’ve been completed faster, if Mother Nature didn’t object, via rain. You may want to book this in the dry season.
  -Crew scheduling: Nilson’s crew is like a machine, and they keep a tight schedule, and you may go a day or two without seeing them. I inquired about this, and it’s because they are working other pools, in various other phases of completion. If you have personal control issues, this may make you crazy, but I trusted Master Touch, and they delivered. Plus, I’m sure they were happy, that I wasn’t incessantly inquiring about my pool’s status.
  -Outcome: I was very happy with the work. I waited a month and a half to post this review, so I knew nothing was going to fail or go bad. We’ve already had a party in our new pool, and it was a hit.
  -Parting Tip: When the pool is done, and filling with water, Nilson will offer for his company to do the “fire up” phase of brushing and chemical balancing, for a fee. I think it’s like $300. $300 may sound like a lot, but TAKE IT! I honestly may have saved $80 by doing it myself, but the hassle of visiting the pool store twice a week, and running home to vigorously brush a pool, after work, is not worth it.
  
  I would recommend Master Touch as a reputable pool company.
